Our company was founded in 1947 as YASUMA Koshinryo store, which began wholesaling spices for use as ingredients, primarily by producers of sauces.
Since then, we have manufactured and sold spices, herbs, dehydrated vegetables,
and other food ingredients to food manufacturers and other companies in the processed food industry. Wishing to deliver the scent of authentic spices to homes, in 1974 we launched Mascot brand spices in general retail outlets.
This marked the start of our sales of small-bottle spices and herbs, carefully procured from select producer regions.
We take pride in the following strengths:
